What's Included in Every Tyre Fitting
Professional Fitting
We use modern tyre-changing equipment to mount your new tyres without damaging the rims. This matters, especially with alloy wheels where a careless mount can leave scratches or dents.
Wheel Balancing
Every new tyre is balanced on a computerised balancer before it goes back on your car. Proper balancing eliminates vibration at speed and ensures even tyre wear. Balancing is included in the fitting price.
Tyre Pressure Check
We set your tyre pressures to the manufacturer's recommended specification. Correct pressure affects handling, fuel economy, and tyre life. We check and adjust all four tyres, not just the new ones.
New Valves with Every Tyre
We fit new valves as standard with every new tyre. Old or cracked valves are a common cause of slow air leaks, so replacing them at fitment time means a clean seal and fewer pressure issues down the track.
Old Tyre Disposal
We remove and dispose of your old tyres responsibly. No need to find somewhere to dump them yourself. Disposal is included.
Safety Inspection
While the wheels are off, we do a quick visual check of your brakes, suspension, and wheel bearings. If we spot anything that needs attention, we'll let you know.
How to Choose the Right Tyre
Choosing tyres comes down to three things: your vehicle, how you drive, and your budget.
Check your tyre size. You'll find it on the sidewall of your current tyres or on the placard inside the driver's door. It looks something like 205/55R16. If you're not sure, just tell us your car's make, model, and year, and we'll look it up.
Consider how you drive. Highway tyres are quiet and fuel-efficient for daily commuting. All-terrain tyres suit ute and 4WD owners who go off-road. Performance tyres offer better grip for spirited driving. We'll match the tyre to your actual driving, not what looks good on paper.
Budget matters. We carry premium, mid-range, and budget options. A cheaper tyre isn't always worse, and an expensive tyre isn't always necessary. We'll give you honest advice about what makes sense for your situation.
When to Replace Your Tyres
- Tread depth below 1.5mm. The legal minimum in NSW is 1.5mm. Below that, your tyres can't clear water properly and your stopping distance increases significantly.
- Visible wear indicators. Those small raised bars in the tyre grooves are wear indicators. When the tread is level with them, the tyre is done.
- Cracks, bulges, or cuts in the sidewall. These are structural damage. The tyre could fail at speed. Replace it.
- Uneven wear. If one edge is bald while the other has tread, you likely need an alignment and new tyres.
- Age. Even if the tread looks fine, tyres older than 5 to 6 years can harden and lose grip. Check the date code on the sidewall.
- Vibration at speed. While this can be a balance issue, it can also indicate internal tyre damage. Get it checked.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does tyre fitting take?
Two tyres take about 30 minutes. A full set of four is usually done in under an hour. If you need an alignment at the same time, add another 30 to 45 minutes.
Should I get an alignment with new tyres?
Yes, we recommend it. A wheel alignment ensures your new tyres wear evenly from the start. It's a small investment that extends the life of your tyres significantly.
How do I know what tyre size I need?
Check the sidewall of your current tyre for the size code (e.g., 205/55R16). You can also find it on the tyre placard inside the driver's door jamb. Or just call us with your car's make, model, and year.
Can you fit tyres I bought elsewhere?
Yes. Bring your tyres in and we'll fit and balance them. We'll also check that the size and load rating are correct for your vehicle.
What brands do you stock?
We carry Goodyear, Dunlop, Kumho, Continental and Pirelli. We stock options across premium, mid-range, and budget price points. Call us to check availability for your size.
Do you fit tyres for EVs?
Yes. We stock EV-specific tyres designed for the extra weight and instant torque of electric vehicles. See our EV tyres page for more information.
