Goodyear Guardian Plan — Membership Terms & Conditions

Version v1.0 (NSW) • Effective: 01/07/2025 • Provider: Goodyear Autocare Blacktown (116 Bungarribee Rd, Blacktown NSW 2148)

  1. Purpose & Promise. We help members look after their vehicles by educating them on servicing needs, promoting maintenance excellence, and offering cost‑effective mechanical services and genuine parts at our Blacktown workshop.
  2. Administration & Service Delivery. The Guardian Plan is administered by Goodyear Autocare Blacktown. Services included in the membership are performed by a Goodyear Autocare licensed technician and/or apprentice under supervision, unless otherwise specified. Benefits relate to mechanical services provided by our workshop.
  3. Membership Eligibility & Scope. One membership applies to one registered vehicle (identified by Registration). An individual may hold multiple memberships for multiple vehicles. Optional multi‑vehicle discount: 5% off the lesser‑value membership when multiple active memberships are held by the same account holder (subject to store approval).
  4. Fees, Payment & Price Reviews. Fees are set by Goodyear Autocare Blacktown. Memberships are paid in advance by direct debit (card or bank) or annually upfront (may include a discount). Prices are reviewed annually on or after 1 July and any change will apply from your next anniversary. We provide at least 30 days’ notice before renewal at a new price. A dishonour fee of $14.95 may be charged when a debit attempt fails, payable with the next drawing.
  5. Term, Cooling‑off, Renewal & POS Start. The term is 12 months from sign‑up. Cooling‑off: During the initial membership, a 14 day cooling‑off period applies. If you cancel during this period after using benefits, an early termination amount may be payable (see Clause F). Renewal: We’ll remind you at least one month prior to expiry; memberships auto‑renew for 12 months unless cancelled. POS Start: If you join on the day you complete and pay a service invoice, you may activate one included benefit immediately; remaining benefits accrue over the membership year.
  6. Cancellations & Early Termination. Cancel any time with 14 days’ written notice to guardian@goodyearblacktown.com.au. For annual plans, if no benefits have been used within 14 days of sign‑up you may request a full refund; otherwise refunds are not available. If you cancel during a membership period (including within the cooling‑off window) after using benefits, we may charge the lesser of: (i) the remaining instalments for the term, or (ii) the retail value of products/services received minus amounts already paid. If you sell your vehicle, contact us to end the membership or request one transfer to the new owner (store approval required).
  7. Inclusions, Limits & Booking. Your tier’s inclusions and annual limits are shown on the Guardian Plan page (e.g., Pink Slip, 55‑point inspection, fluid top‑ups, puncture repairs, tyre rotation/balance, diagnostics, discounts). Benefits are per membership year and do not carry over after the anniversary. Bookings are essential. Priority booking means we will offer an available slot within 48 business hours, subject to capacity and opening hours.
  8. Labour vs Parts & Consumables. Unless expressly stated, inclusions and displayed values reflect labour allowances only. Parts, oils, filters and consumables are additional and must be supplied by our workshop to maintain workmanship warranty. Additional or non‑included work will be quoted and requires approval before commencement.
  9. Fair Use & Exclusions. Excludes competition/motorsport use, accident damage, abnormal wear, non‑standard modifications, oversized fitments beyond manufacturer specification, and vehicles over 3.5t GVM. Benefits cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated. One membership per vehicle; benefits apply only to that vehicle. Missed or skipped services do not carry forward.

  11. Privacy & Communications. We may send reminders, booking confirmations and membership updates by SMS/email. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available in‑store or on our website).
  12. Changes to Terms. We may update these Terms at any time; the latest version will be available in‑store and on our website. Material changes will be notified prior to renewal.
  13. Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our workmanship warranty applies to labour we perform; manufacturer warranties apply to parts.
